How are your avocado orders processed for shipment to my doorstep?
All orders are processed and shipped weekly. Once an order is placed, you will receive an e-mail or text message confirmation, and a picking ticket is generated. A team of dedicated Avocado Professionals will hand-pick all Avocados, weigh your box orders, and ship your orders within 24 hours of picking. All 5lb or 10lb box shipments are shipped via USPS ground to your doorstep.
Can I eat my Avocados right away?
Your Avocado orders are hand-picked right off the tree to your box and will need some time at home to ripen. Please expect up to two weeks. Please refer to our Tips on Ripening Page for more information and techniques for faster ripening at home. Please know that avocados take a full year to grow, and we only sell our fruit IN SEASON; this is the time when we know that our avocados have reached maturity, so they are ready to be picked off the tree and served.
How are your organic avocados grown?
Our Avocados are grown using regenerative farming living soil practices. We use no chemicals. We tend the orchard by hand, we do not till our soil, when we weed, clear and prune our trees, this is done by hand and all organic matter is left by the trees to decompose back into our soil. Our soil is living with biology and healthy organic matter. We try to trap as much precious water as possible which at times is one of our biggest challenges.
Are your avocados are ever treated with Apeel or Organipeel?
Apeel and or Organipeel is it not present in our operation at the Orchard as your avocados purchased from our site are simply picked directly off of the trees and packed into a shipping box to send. They are not processed, refrigerated, gassed, or coated with any chemicals unlike avocados sent to packing houses.

Our Avocados are grown in the United States, Fallbrook, California. Fallbrook has been growing avocados for over 100 years. We are certified organic, process your orders fresh from our orchard, and send them to your doorstep. Our avocados are not gassed or kept in cold storage for months as are store-purchased avocados, and our fruit is picked specifically for you directly in your box to your doorstep. We additionally support regenerative farming, which minimizes water usage and increases carbon sequestering through our living soil farming practices. Our land is home to native wildflowers, wildlife, and happy bees. Fallbrook avocados are simply better for our planet, and the quality and taste of our fruit are far superior.
Do you ship year-round?
Currently, our Picking Season is from November to July. However, we are in the process of planting Varieties that will enable us to ship fruit year-round in time.
Can I order more than 10 lbs per order or add a monthly subscription while in season?
Yes. Please contact us directly for any special order requests.
